Well, this morning I discovered a leak under the bathroom sink.
*Heavy sigh*
As it turns out, the PVC pipe that Mr. Vaughn put in developed an "issue" and had a pretty rapid drip problem. Thankfully, and this is kind of hilarious, all the water dripped onto my pads and tampons so it absorbed the majority of the water. It couldn't have been dripping for that long (maybe a few days).
I cleaned out everything from under the sink and put a towel and bowl under the drip, gave Tiste our handyman's number (Travis is my freakin' HERO) and headed off to work. Tiste called Travis who came out and assessed the problem this afternoon and then was off to get parts. Turns out it's going to be able $40 (give or take a buck) to fix the issue. Should be done tonight.
This leads into a bitch session about the roommate...
I had to ask him to pick up some trash yesterday that... BTW, was right next to a trash can! I let it sit there for a week (yeah, I had hopes) and then he added more to the pile instead of throwing everything away last night. I calmly asked him to take care of his trash and he said, "Yes, Mom"... I calmly told him that if he would respect my house, pick up after himself and take responsibility as an adult then I wouldn't need to sound like his mother.
So, this morning, I asked the roommate to shave his head in the shower and not the sink (I even explained why) and he sarcastically replied with, "And do you have a mirror that I can borrow"? To which, I'll admit I finally did not have a nice remark. Tiste actually held me back so that I didn't brain the inconsiderate ass.
*heavy sigh*
Why does this man push my buttons!

Glad the sink had a relatively easy fix. Too bad the roommate doesn't!
Keep the sink
Get a new roonmate?
PS when it rains it pours!
The roommate might need to start shopping for a new place to live; it's true. I haven't decided when I'm going to ask him to move out. I mean, he's not home on the weekends and that is a HUGE bonus.
