InLight Richmond celebrates 1708 Gallery's 30th Anniverysary
Tripping the light fantastic (literally), the 100-400 blocks of Broad Street will be ablaze with illuminating art from 7pm-midnight on September 5 as the nonprofit 1708 Gallery celebrates its 30th anniversary with the light-oriented extravaganza, “InLight Richmond.” Taking its cue from Paris’s “Nuit Blanche,” the event will feature performances and installations by more than 40 artists. My organization is providing an area where kids will be able to make/create their own works of art to wear in a parade of light!
